A Child’s Dream About Veterinary Medicine in Markham

By May 30, 2014 February 28th, 2019 Uncategorized

Did you ever wonder why veterinarians and everyone working for us is so committed to animals? The dream starts at an early age. My 9 year old daughter just brought home a school project in which she wrote about her future:

“When I am older I would like to be a veterinarian. I would like to work at my dad’s veterinary clinic in Markham. Before I go to university, I would like to work at a pet store. I want to go to Guelph University. I am going to buy a house near the clinic, so it is not far to drive. I will want to treat the pets and do surgery on them but I will also want to walk the dogs that are boarding. I want all the pets that come to the clinic to have a cozy and loving life at home. I want to have some pets at home but I definitely do not want to have more than five animals. When I am older I would like to work as a veterinarian.”

I believe we all started dreaming about helping animals as children – and today this dream comes true for all of us.
